It is with great pride that we share that the Child Development Laboratories in East Lansing has been reaccredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Two weeks ago, an all-day site visit took place with observations in classrooms, interviews with teachers, and review of our classroom and program portfolios. During our observation, teachers demonstrated our program’s strengths and highlighted the meaningful experiences we provide for children each day.
Yesterday, we received word that we have been re-accredited for another 5 years! This accreditation is one of the highest indicators of quality in early care and education as less than 10% of programs in the country hold this distinction. Our accreditation represents our team’s commitment to providing safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environments for children.
This would not have been possible without our dedicated teaching teams who work each day to bring the best practices into the classrooms.
