Dr. Richard S. Wampler is emeritus professor of Applied and Professional Studies at Texas Tech University. Until his second retirement, he served as a tenured professor in Couple and Family Therapy in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Michigan State University (2007-13). In addition to academic experiences, he served as supervising psychologist for staff at a large Georgia mental hospital for 5 years.
