Biography

Jiayi Liu (she/her/hers) is a doctoral student in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Diversity, Youth and Family Development. Her advisor is Dr. Desiree Baolian Qin. Her research interests center on understanding Chinese family dynamics and the cultural beliefs, values, and practices behind daily family interactions. Jiayi is also interested in understanding the impact of societal contexts (e.g., SES, migration) on the well-being of children and their parents. She hopes
