Biography

My name is Rissa Dickey (she/they), and I am a Master's student in the college of Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child Development. My faculty advisor is Dr. Holly Brophy-Herb. My areas of interest are toddler and infant mental health and social-emotional development, and I am interested in eventually advising childcare centers on the best practices surrounding social-emotional ... development in infants and toddlers. I am currently working at the MSU Child Development Laboratories as the Associate Teacher for the Infant classroom.
