Wan-Hsuan Lin is an Academic Specialist who serves as Administrator of the Child Development Laboratories. She joined the faculty of HDFS (formerly Family and Child Ecology) in 2008. In addition she is coordinating the CDL's international visiting scholar, student and professional programs.
Wan-Hsuan earned a Master’s degree in Child Development from Michigan State University. Her years of experience as a baby room nurse led to her pursuit of a Child Development degree. Ms. Lin works to create a meaningful home/school connection. Her interests include support of an anti-bias, multicultural, and sensory friendly classroom, she also incorporates technology as a tool in children assessment.
Ms. Lin has presented at state, national and international settings in the areas of creating anti-bias classroom, sensory table materials, creating online children portfolios, block study, transforming the classroom, and cultural Competence. She also frequent as guest lecturer for MSU courses and two other universities in Taiwan.
Ms. Lin deeply values her work with children and families.
