Heidi Foxworthy is an Academic Specialist who has worked in several roles in the Early Childhood field. She has been a Preschool Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, Preschool Director and Early Childhood Specialist. She has worked for a playground company after she developed an interest in designing playgrounds from a curriculum approach.  Ms. Foxworthy creates a learning environment which meets children at their developmental level and supports learning through building on children’s successes.  Ms. Foxworthy’s special interests include children’s social development, literacy and the outdoor learning environment. Ms.  Foxworthy has presented at local and state conferences on home visiting and the outdoor learning environment.
