Erica Colón is a Senior Academic Specialist who creates a classroom that meets the interests and needs of all children, setting up an environment that supports challenges and successes. Ms. Colón’s special interests include literacy, children’s social development, and how they relate to developmentally appropriate practices implemented in the classroom. Ms. Colón incorporates the Project Approach in her curriculum delivery, focusing on the interests of children.  She presents at local and state conferences on early childhood inclusion.
