Phillip Baumgarner is an Academic Specialist who serves as Assistant Director of the Child Development Laboratories, overseeing operations at the East Lansing campus. He joins the MSU CDL after serving a teacher at the University of Georgia Child Development Lab for 19 years. While in Georgia, he served on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Association for the Education of Young Children. Mr. Baumgarner has presented at the Georgia Conference on Children’s Literature, Georgia’s Together For Children Conference as well as for SECA (Southern Early Childhood Association), NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English), and the NAEYC Annual conference.
