Bio
Francesca Pratt (she/her) is a 3rd year doctoral student in the Couple and Family Therapy program in the department of Human Development and Family Studies at Michigan State University. Francesca is working with faculty advisor, Dr. Lekie Dwanyen. Francesca is interested in the cultural adaptation of systemic interventions to reduce maternal health disparities among Black American women. She is interested in community-engaged research to reduce postpartum depression symptoms and examine social support among Black American mothers. Francesca is a therapist at the MSU Couple and Family Therapy Clinic where she provides clinical services to couples and families.
