Dr. Robert Griffore is a Professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies. He has been Associate Chairperson, Graduate Director, and Chairperson. He received the Teaching Award in the College of Human Ecology and the McGraw-Hill Distinguished Scholar Award. He teaches HDFS 472 Program Evaluation and HDFS 481 Research and Quantitative Methods. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Family and Consumer Sciences Research Journal and a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Behavioral and Social Sciences. He is a reviewer for Child Development, American Journal of Orthopsychiatry, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Ecopsychology, and Critical Social Work. Current areas of scholarship include methods, theory, ageism, long-term care, reminiscences, and metacontingencies.
