Student Employment
If you are an undergraduate or graduate student studying Child Development or Elementary Education with an Early Childhood (ZS) Endorsement, we invite you to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity to gain extra classroom experience outside of the required coursework. Students who work at the CDL often feel more confident and prepared to be in the classroom. We are happy to accommodate student class schedules. Possible shifts include:
Morning shift 7:30AM-8:30AM
Lunch/nap shift 11AM-1PM
End-of-day shift 3:45PM-6PM
Priority is given to students who are available for a consistent time period Monday-Thursday. The CDL East Lansing campus is also open on Fridays for students who are interested in working.
The CDL East Lansing campus is open-year round. Student staff members are not required to work during MSU breaks, but they are encouraged and welcome to if interested!
