Students Information

We warmly welcome students from all disciplines to the MSU Child Development Laboratories! We are a teacher training institution, which means students are an essential part of our model here at the CDL.

For Undergraduates:

Several core courses included in the Child Development and ZS endorsement programs take place here at the CDLs.

HDFS 320L: Interactions with Children – Lab
HDFS 321L: Curriculum for Children – Lab
HDFS 322L: Infant Development and Program Planning- Lab
HDFS 424: Student Teaching in an Early Childhood Program

For Graduate Students:

Several core courses included in the Child Development Professional Master’s program (Plan B) take place here at the CDLs.

HDFS 818: Advanced Curricular Adaptations in Diverse Early Childhood Environments
HDFS 819: Advanced Curricular Adaptations in Diverse Early Childhood Environments
HDFS 894: Laboratory and Field Experience (early childhood setting, summer)
