Marisa Diaz is a Head Teacher who earned her Bachelor degree in Family Community Services with an emphasis on Young Child from Michigan State University. Ms. Diaz has worked in both the public and private educational and childcare settings since 2002. Her areas of interest include creating a trusting, respectful and nurturing learning environment for children, working with infants and their families, and supporting a home/school connection. Most recently Ms. Diaz has been working with other HDFS faculty on the development of an infant/toddler curriculum. She supports University students to develop best practice related to infant care and programming. Ms. Diaz presents at local, state, and national conferences.
